Beatrush Studios ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SP-Slidekick mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

SP-Slidekick is designed as a utility tool for the Roland SP-404MK2. We believe in minimal data collection.

• Personal Data: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• MIDI Data: The app processes MIDI data locally on your device to communicate with your hardware. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
• App Settings: Configuration data (such as slider positions, bus settings, and custom labels) is stored locally on your device using platform-standard storage (DataStore/UserDefaults). This data remains on your device.
• Background Images: If you select a background image for the app, the image file remains on your device. The app only stores a reference (URI) to the file to display it.

2. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions to function correctly:

• USB / MIDI: Required to detect and communicate with the Roland SP-404MK2 hardware.
• Vibrate: Used to provide haptic feedback during UI interactions.
• Storage/Photos (Optional): Only accessed if you choose to personalize the app with a custom background image.

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect it in the first place.

4. Data Security

Since all your settings and configurations are stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your mobile device.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
